Types of Fashion with Goth

Victorian Goth: You're all about the fancy lace, the corset and frills and that old fashioned made-up look. Your clothes tend to cost quite a bit due to their intricate detail.

Post Punk Goth: Your fashion tends to look similar to true punk but in a deeper color palette of reds, purple, blacks and ocasionally a white accent.

Plain Modern Goth: You wear your favorite Bauhaus/ Siousxie shirt with pants or a skirt, usually accesorise quite well.

Pin Up Goth: Vintage 50's that's gone to the bats. Poka dots and pumps, with fishnets and hair bows are a must for you. You have betty page as your idol for fashion and the look you strive for.

Chic Modern Goth: You keep your clothes simplistic (clean sleak lines) with touches of your graveyard yearnings. such as some bell sleeves and lace every here and there, you use modern accessories with touches of gothic flare to show your style and passions off.

~Sujestions to Improve these styles~

Victorian Goth: Lay down on some of the fancy so you can breath a bit, think more Morticia Adams and less 1800's esque (your wallet/ free time will thank you). Try fancy accessories with a less powerful outfit.

Post Punk Goth: Classier vests with pin stripes look amazing (if you can find one that fits you right wether you make it or not) with a few of your fave buttons on their you can make your look
fantastic. And try a worn out looking/ softer print, for the pants.

Plain Modern Goth: Try a DIY shirt made into more than just a t-shirt (wether your male or female) so you keep the nice simple look you have (simple is not a bad thing!) and unlike the other Goths I would sujust simple clean-lined accessories (nothing with fancy designs on them or anything).

Pin Up Goth: Don't mix and match too many prints (it's painful for the eyes) if you have one print do everything else plain colored to make that print the hilight of your outfit instead of the backdrop.

Chic Modern Goth: Classy accessories are a must with a slightly dressy outfit but be careful not to over or under-dress your outfit, their is a balance that must be maintained with this look.

Disclaimer: Most of us have a set fashion with outfits that match ALL of these criteria, so take that into account when mixing outfits. Make sure you wear comfortable clothes that accentuate your best features and fit you well, that is a tip for everyone who wears clothes.

Why I Created This Blog

My purpose here is not to talk to you about my pointless problems etc. like other blogs but to supply those of you who are Gothic and love the Gothic fashion with GOOD goth clothes from non-goth sources (which most of those shops jack up the price to an unsightly ammount and our lives art stressful enough as it is already). Some of the clothes I see other Goth's wearing is just plain tacky and is said to be "not suitable" for the work place. Dressing to fit who you arte doesn't mean gouging out peoples eyes and feeding it down their throats. We are unique and I want to change the way people see our Graveyard clothing.

This blog will contain everything from fashion tips/ stores to find certain clothes at (you would be amazed the ammount of gothic styled clothing in non goth stores for a good price). To help for DIY supplies. Please leave your feedback either here or at some of my other sites that I'm on such as:

www.vampirefreaks.com/fxckingxreality

or simply write me an email at

onemorehkfan@hellokitty.com

(please ignore the email adress I know it's very lame)

Oh and if you want to give me CONSTRUCTIVE criticism I am open to it.
